We are looking at various options to increase the number of new boats we can offer for sale.
Please call if you have a specific requirement, or to register interest in an Open Day we are planning for the Spring to show-case a range of kayaks and canoes.

Second-hand Boats

Buyers - Are you looking for a second hand canoe or kayak, but reluctant to bid on eBay without having the chance to check it out first? Why not peruse the list of second hand boats available from us, then come down for a closer look, discuss your requirements and let us guide your selection. Come prepared for an on-water trial (conditions apply) and if you like what you try we can help you complete the purchase. If you can’t take it away you can leave it with us for up to a week at no charge, after which normal storage fees apply.

Sellers – Are you selling a canoe or kayak, but fed up with answering the phone and arranging demonstrations? Maybe you’re getting too many “tyre kickers” or unrealistic offers? Perhaps you’ve already bought your new boat and need to store the old one somewhere while you sell it?

We can help with all of the above.

We are a canoe & kayak hire business located on the Woronora River near Sutherland, Sydney. We currently have some spare racks in our boatshed, just metres from the water via our jetty and pontoon. We regularly have customers asking if we have second-hand boats for sale.

You can park your boat and gear with us and forget about advertising, talking to buyers and negotiating deals. We will attract potential buyers, arrange supervised on-water trials to approved customers, organise finance if required and deposit the funds into your bank account. We will not sell a boat for less than the specified price without written confirmation from you.

Various packages are available, according to the value of the boat, your personal preferences and the urgency of the sale.
We offer an optional cleaning and polishing service so your boat is always at its most presentable.

We will not hire out your boat (except as part of a negotiated agreement) and only then to specific customers. We keep a log of all users, viewers and other activities affecting your boat and will send you email updates.

Storage fees and sales commissions are negotiable, but are typically $10 per week per rack and $50 per sale or 5% for boats over $1000. The commission can be reduced if you introduce the buyers and/or conduct the sales, ie just pay for storage and easy access to the water.  Ownership of the boat is with the seller until the sale is completed. We have third party and public liability insurance, but insurance of individual boats remains with the owner unless specifically included.

Boat Listings

Tarpon 140

Pre-loved but hardly used. Very stable and, with bungs in, quite a dry boat. If it does get choppy, whip the bungs out and it self-drains.  Tracks nicely but also has a factory-fitted rudder for additional directional control.

Lots of attachment points for fishing and exploring. No rod holders for trolling but space to fit them. W e can supply and fit them if you wish.
