Boats For Hire
We currently have kayaks, canoes and motorboats available for hire on the river (ie not for removal to another location). Click on the links for more details of the types of craft and the hire rates.
We are also working, albeit slowly, on developing a fleet of rowing boats, both for general hire and for more serious rowers for exercise and even competition.

I live in bangor and have a 8HP envinrude engine that has not been used in 3 years. I have replaced the spark plugs and fuel so it starts but is very smokey. I was wondering If i could hire one of your tinnies and attach my engine to it and use my own fuel. I am happy to pay full price and leave whatever bond nessesary…

Hi Adam,
Our tinnies are apparently rated for 6HP but I’m not sure where that restriction originated – manufacturer, MSB, owner, etc. If you just want a test bed I’m sure we could work something out, but if you wanted to go wakeboarding upriver I’d have to do some more research.
