Hi Christine,
It's about 5kms to the Needles so I'd allow an hour of steady paddling. Unless you time it just right, you're probably going to have some adverse tidal flow either going or coming so add maybe 10 minutes to the round trip and then add a bit more if it is windy as canoeing is like cycling - even if you do a u-turn the wind is still in your face!
Como is a fraction further so I'd allow 2.5 hours for the return trip.
We do offer discounts for longer hire periods but please call for details as we have some midweek group books and will need to work around them. Similarly we can provide you with a mix of boats to suit your requirements according to the ages and physical strength of your party. I'd suggest you do not plan to tow someone except in a short term emergency; it is hard work! If you have someone who wants a kayak but may get tired, save a space in a larger canoe and then tow the empty kayak when necessary

Hi, I was just wondering how long you would expect it to take to get to the needles? And are the swimming pools worth a visit? Also, I have read the hire rates, do you offer a half or full day rate? We are after either 3 kayaks/canoes, or the triple (is that suitable for 3 adults, none are overweight) on most probably a Monday. And just one more thing, how long would you expect it to take to get to the combo bridge limit?

Many thanks

Hi Julian
Sorry if the text is misleading. We have some canoes with a 150kg load limit; if a larger canoe is required we have them also. The Bushranger with 2 or 3 seats can take 260kgs and the Finn Reflection can take a family of four if the children are not too big. We also have a brand new Reflection for sale - $1300 with 2 paddles!
Regards
